User Submitted Little Tikes Push & Ride Racer Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-07-12 Great Toy for Learning to Walk & Ride My daughter loves this Racer. It helped her to walk. She would push it side ways and backwards just to get to where she wanted. And even now that she can walk she still pushes it around and rides it too. I am so happy I purchased this. Date: 2007-06-27 Excellent Toy If only all toys were made like this one-- simple and durable. We went looking for this toy because our neighbors had one. The Kids just seem to love it, (even when they've outgrown it)! We recently bought this for our son's first birthday and expect to have it around for years. Date: 2007-05-25 Great ride-on toy - but watch out: a tendency to tip! A good, fun, fast toy. But take care - it's a bit front-loaded, and can tip forward if your child hits any resistance while rolling along. My son has tumbled head-over-heels over the handle bars (the car going along with him) a few times, but he was on the grass so all is well. Just something to note if your child is an "aggressive driver". Date: 2007-05-21 Not that great-yet We recently put this together for our 9 month old son since he's now walking around a bit holding the furniture. Putting it together wasn't complicated but the wheels did require a little patience. He's not able to sit in it comfortably yet. We've also tried to use it as a walker and that hasn't worked too well so far either. The toy is too light-when my son leans on it for support, it pushes forward faster than is stable for him. It's also a very simple toy compared to the other ride ons you can get at Toys-R-Us for a similar price. He likes it when we push him around on it, but he's not totally comfortable on it and pushing him around can be tiring. It would be great if this came with a push handle for the parents though, but I guess that would raise the price. I am hoping he'll grow into it soon. If he starts liking it more, I'll change my rating update: as he became comfortable with this toy, my son grew to love it. he loved riding around on the deck with it. Date: 2007-05-17 One Year Old Took to this ASAP How surprised was I that my granddaughter who could not walk, when placed upon the seat, took off instantly and figured out how to get over bumps and even lift it up a bit to go around corners. She is so little that it it's so strange seeing her ride the thing like a harley. I too agree that this simple model is small and practical and I like that her focus is on riding not playing with bells and whistles. The very worst part of this toy is assembling it but this must be where the cost savings comes in, since the box size could have housed the body of this all put together to start with, minus the handles.
