User Submitted Pass the Pigs Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-03-12 Excellent game to teach risk vs. reward to kids Our family has played Pass the Pigs off and on for 6 years. The game is simple to play and has a different outcome every time. Sometimes the pigs toss favorably and sometimes unfavorably. The game teaches the value of learning to 'quit while you are ahead' no matter how little one thinks they are ahead (one of the pig roll combos reduces all of one's point in that round to zero- a 'Pig Out'.). A good lesson to learn in a gambling city like Reno where it is easy to 'lose it all' if one gets enamoured with the 'easy riches' lure of the casinos. Great game to pull out for two families with kids after a dinner together. A game takes about 20 minutes with four participants. Date: 2007-02-11 great game I actually have the ORIGINAL version of this game from the early 1970s. My game is called "Pig Mania" but it appears to be the same exact game, (Complete with a "Pig Pen" (that long ago ran out of ink), a "Pig Pad" for keeping score), and a Pig Sty (the cup that the pigs get tossed from). I recently pulled my game off the shelf, and dusted it off for my 4 year old, she has been having a great time. I came here to look for a new one in better condition. Since my game is 30 years old and has seen the effects of time, I know it will not stand up to a 4 year old's abuse. But all in all, this is a GREAT game. As a PP post said, it IS great for all ages 3-103. I am exited about the current packaging, this seems that it will be a great thing for my purse, and something to keep my DD busy while in waiting rooms or in returarants. Chris Date: 2007-02-03 Don't pass on buying Pass The Pigs Playing pass the pigs is the most fun I've had in a long time! The game is great for a number of reasons. It can be played almost anywhere--we play it at home, take it to our friends houses, and even play it at restaurants while waiting for our food. Also, it can be played with any number of people (2-???) and almost any age can play--children have just as much chance of winning as the adults. One warning....the game can be addictive. When we first got the game my son played it so much that he actually dreamed about playing. Date: 2007-01-15 Pass the Pig Game! We play Pass the Pig for hours. Looked for weeks until we found one on Amazon. Amazon should be called Amazing cause you will more than likely find what you look for. Thanks Amazon. Date: 2007-01-11 Love this game! This a great game for 2 or more players. The most fun you'll ever have with pigs.
