User Submitted Push Around Buggy (Pink) Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-07-25 Truly a Must Have! We bought this for our son for his 1st Birthday. I read all of the reviews and decided we'd give it a go...I am sooooo happy that we did. We have many toys that just sit around a collect dust - but this one is not just fun for him - it is so functional! We don't have problems with him riding in the stroller but this is a cool way for him to take a walk and stay occupied when go that extra few blocks. We drew a lot of attention in just a few days. We are tall (5'11 and 6'2) and we are pleased with the handle height - there is nothing worse than having to stoop to push/pull a stroller or wagon. The colors are bright and fun, the horn just the right volume and the trunk storage is roomy for a cup/snacks or a lovey to ride along. I like that it can be bought in pink too. It was easy to put together and all of the parts came in the trunk. He gets so excited when he sees it... We bought it at our local Toys R Us store...which can be a bit pricey compared to some other places. However, if you join their birthday club, they will send you a $5 coupon to use on any toy purchase over $25 and the child gets a $3 gift card to use. (These came in plenty of time before the big day, by snail mail) So, we were able to deduct $8 off of the $45 price tag...which made it slightly less than the Walmart price. Toys R Us (at least ours) also had one that you could try - before we bought, which made it nice. If I had to make a criticsm...the wheels would be nicer (and completely silent) if they were rubber - but then you would have to contend with flats, maintenence etc...so the plastic ones do just fine. To the reviewer that wrote about people being able to hear you coming a mile away while at the mall...I don't see why you couldn't glue strips of rubber placemat material around the tires to quiet them. It would just take a strong adhesive. With excessive wear it could be replaced too. Just a thought. Anyway...we love our Push Around Buggy. I will suggest it to anyone looking for a great baby/toddler gift and would consider gifting it in the future as well. Date: 2007-07-11 Good, but not great. Needs rubber wheels for 5 star I love this car...BUT I hate the wheels. Why oh why, did they have to use plastic wheels. That feature alone almost ruins the car. The plastic wheels makes pushing this little car a pain in the ears. Every rut you hit you can hear and feel!!! This car would've been rated 5 star if it had had rubber bike-like wheels. We took this car to the mall to push our daughter in. The mall had tiled flooring--let's just say everyone could hear us coming a mile away. Date: 2007-07-08 Son loves it! Our son was getting squirmy in strollers, so I thought I'd try something else. This worked out great, he loves it! He climbs into it as soon as he sees it and loves to take a walk in it. My husband thinks it is too loud when you push it, but the sound doesn't really bother me. Overall, it's great to have! Date: 2007-05-28 Cooper Loves IT. My son got this car for his first birthday. He loves it and we can't keep him out of it,however, as a parent I wish it would grow with him. I wish the handle would come off and the foot rests would fold in so he could eventually make it go himself. Other than that, I feel the car was a great purchase and a super gift for his first year. Date: 2007-05-21 Imagination at its best I recently bought this toy from Amazon for my husband's grand daughter and she just can't seem to get enough. The handle is just the right height for adults pushing the cart and because she loves it so, I now use it as an opportunity to do a lot of walking in the evenings with her in the park. So in both ways, I'm exercising and she's enjoying it.
