User Submitted Radio Flyer Pathfinder Wagon Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-07-10 INCREDIBLE SAFETY HAZARD. DON'T BUY THIS WAGON. The wagon is fine, but the "seatbelts" are a complete joke and dangerous to boot. They are installed with cheap, plastic bolts that screw into equally cheap plastic fittings that you punch in to holes in the wagon. The instructions direct you to use a screwdriver, which bends and strips the screws to make them useless. The straps pop off of the securing mechanism about 10 seconds into the ride. My kids (14 mos. and 3 years--well within the recommended ages for this wagon) were standing up and trying to get out while we were pulling the wagon. They were able to rip the seatbelts out of their fittings without any effort whatsoever. This is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS. Kids are designed to stand up in a moving vehicle--it's in their DNA. A child could very easily fall out of a moving wagon and be injured. You wouldn't know it's happening because as the "driver", your back is to the kids. DON'T BUY THIS WAGON. IT'S A SAFETY HAZARD. I love the "how durable is this toy"? question. In this case, it lasted about 10 seconds. Radio Flyer is going to hear from me about this dangerous, unsafe toy. Date: 2008-07-07 Excellent Wagon I really took the time to shop around and compare prices, size, and styles of wagons before making a purchase. I chose this one based on other customer reviews, price, and size. I use the wagon to pull two children ages 2 and 4. A double stroller was no longer a good fit. There is definately enough leg room in this wagon for the two of them. In addition, the cup holders are very handy. Radio Flyer calls this the SUV of wagons. I would agree. The steering and control are great, even over rough terrain such as rocks. The rubber tires are a great feature. There is no air to inflate and they wear much better than plastic tires. I also like the seatbelts for added safety. I would highly recomend this as a good purchase. Date: 2008-06-17 Best wagon ever. I am thrilled with this purchase for our 2 y/o. He loves to go for rides in it alone or with a friend and plenty of leg room for both! When he's alone we flip down the other side for a table for him and what ever "tweasuwes" he finds. With the seat belts, I don't worry about him suddenly tumbling out, or standing up while moving. The cup holders are especially nice and fit a range of sizes. All in all a great deal. BUT! Be prepared to spend some time on assembly. Not difficult, just a little time consuming, but well worth it. Date: 2008-06-04 Great wagon My one year old loves this wagon! He will actually sit still as long as he's in it. Great for wine festivals to haul him and lots of stuff-we get lots of compliments on it too! The canopy Radio Flyer Wagon Canopy is also great. Had him under it in a downpour and he and everything in the wagon were dry as a bone. The handle also comes off so it more easily fits in a vehicle. Date: 2008-06-02 Fun Fun Fun We purchased this for our 11 month old grandaughter. I am not sure who is having the most fun her or us. It is wonderful she can be safely fastened in with the seat belt and we buckle her doll on the other side so she is not alone. That puts them face to face while we get our exercise pulling her. Would be wonderful for families with 2 small children. This is a wonderful product and we are enjoying it far more than I thought we would. Thanks Kendra
