User Submitted Little Playzone with Sounds and Lights Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-08-08 My son is in "the zone"! I live in Singapore and despite the slew of huge toy stores here, I was surprised that I couldn't get this. So, I had to have it imported. I purchased 2 units of this from Target via Amazon and it just arrived at my doorstep this morning. I opened up the boxes and got the entire playzone up and "running" in about 10 minutes. The playzone appears to be built of durable plastic and is very sturdy. My 1 year old (just turned one last week) absolutely loves it. He's been in there for about 2 hours now, playing with the buttons that light up and play his favourite tunes like "Wheels on the bus" and "Pop goes the weasel", just to name a few. He's still learning to walk and is now holding on to the sides of the playzone and walking around it. It is obvious that he enjoys his dedicated play area. To me, it is a must-have for toddlers. But bear in mind that even though he is in a safe "zone", it is always advisable to keep a watchful eye. Aside from this, I would like to highlight the difficulty in getting information on the product from Amazon. As I was getting it imported into Singapore, I needed to find out the dimensions of the cartons as couriers / shippers charge by volumetric weight. Repeated attempts to get this information from Amazon's customer service failed and even a request to put me in touch with Target was turned down. All they could tell me was to return the product! I eventually found Target's website and emailed their customer service for help. There, I got a prompt and helpful response. Overall, I love the product but after years of shopping with Amazon - especially from so far away - I am utterly disappointed with Amazon's level of customer service support. Kudos to the guys at Target! Date: 2007-07-30 MUST HAVE! I'm a twin mom, and I reallllly love this product. For now, we only have one, but in the future we will get another and make it bigger. We have it up against a wall-the wall is bare and it makes the playzone "bigger"...we have a large blanket underneath it. The girls love it, I feel good knowing that they are safe, when I have to cook dinner,clean,and keep the other kids away from the babies. I think your getting what you pay for-if they did make improvements, you'd be paying alot more. Overall, I highly suggest this product, I'm sure you will be happy with it! Date: 2007-07-12 Little Playzone, Big Help This item is great! It is easy to assemble, very portable, and allows the child to entertain him/herself. I would recommend this product to everyone. Date: 2007-06-19 excellent play yard I purchased this play yard when my daughter was 10 months old. She is now 20 months old. WE LOVE this play yard and it was worth every penny. When she was younger it provided her with a safe place to crawl and play. Now that she is older, it works well in containing all her toys and still provides a fun, safe place for her to retreat to and play. Not to mention all of the children of all ages who visit us immediately gravitate towards it. It's very durable and steady and climb resistant. Also easy to clean. The bright colors make it so friendly and inviting. We have the extentions which are great. I would especially reccommend this product if you have a large living room but no play room. It's almost like a room itself. Great purchase!!!!!! Date: 2007-06-11 Best little pokie in town This is the best little pokie in town, when we need to contain our little one we can and he is ok with it because he has room to play. or when we just want to slow him down, the pokie it is.
