As we own lots of KAPLA I can only sat they are superior in quality to any other building blocks. My autistic son just has a tremendous experience with these..always positive. There is no hazardous chemical paint to rub off. There are no splinters to prick small hands. Every family member play with them. Even Grampa & Grama. Such a joy for all. A note of warning though, if you have any pets. THEY LOVE THEM MORE THAN US HUMANS. I have to keep ours hid and out of reach or I will find them all chewed up. Date: 2008-08-29 One of, if not THE, best toys I've ever purchased. It's late August and I first purchased a set of Kapla blocks at Christmas. I can say with certainty that this is one of the only toys to get regular play time 8 months later. I originally bought one box of 200 for my nieces & nephew and one box of 50 for myself. Once the other adult family members realized how fun and smart the blocks were, the collection grew to over 700! The kids are constantly trying new designs and building things with more precision...and when they walk away to do something else, the adults jump in and try their own designs! I can say with confidence that very few other toys have received as much play-time as these simple little wood blocks have. Date: 2008-08-26 Hours of imaginative play Got these for my kids because they played with them at a museum recently and couldn't get enough. Blocks couldn't be simpler, but the kids love them, and something about how they're made seems to make them less likely to tip over than other building blocks. Date: 2008-07-04 Great Set of Blocks! My four year old received these blocks for his birthday and they haven't been left alone since. They stack amazingly well so we have created so many different things that you cannot do with regular building blocks. I definitely recommend these blocks to anyone looking for a great set of blocks (planks) that allow for a lot of imaginative play - for you and your child. Date: 2008-01-12 Amazing blocks These blocks were recommended by a friend and said they were perfect for all ages. As simple as these blocks are, they are amazing. The types of structures you can build are incredible. Because the blocks are so thin, you can make bridges and towers that seem to defy gravity. Fun for kids and adults alike.
