User Submitted Radio Flyer Classic Rock and Bounce Pony Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-10-07 Love this pony, great for special children My daughter has been using this pony for well over a year. I like the fact that it doesn't take batteries or make noise, kinda like the old fashioned one I had as a kid. My daughter has special needs, so at a little over two years old we are still using the removable saddle to help keep her balance. The saddle is great, very easy to get her in and out of and it is a good size. Was pretty easy to put together, just make sure you have the pieces turned the right direction... Date: 2007-09-02 tickled to pieces I bought this toy for my grandson's first birthday, and as soon as his mom put it together he was climbing on it, during his birthday party he kept going back to his pony, he just loved it, it is was the hit of the party. and I am tickled to pieces to have been the one to give it to him. I babysit my grandson while his parents both work same shift, and everyday he is wanting me to let him ride his pony. It was worth every cent, getting it for him. Date: 2007-08-28 Nice Horse I got this for my daughter's 1st birthday. The optional harness thing was too small for her. She didn't like getting in and out of it and got stuck too many times. Once we took that off, she started to like it better. She was a little scared of it at first. She is 14 months now and loves to ride it. She doesn't stay on long but we are glad we got it. It is so cute to see her ride on it. The horse is also very soft. She likes to pretend to feed it and pets it also. Date: 2007-08-23 Cowgirl My little girl loves her horse, she usually wears her red cowgirl hat, while riding it. Mommy likes it because she can't fall off of it, because it has a safety seat on it. Date: 2007-07-27 A nice pony but not the end-all be-all of rides This toy is a lot bigger than I expected. If space is an issue for you, you should get the Fisher-Price Bounce 'n' Spin Zebra. Also, just a warning, when you take the parts out of the box, the rubber bands smell! I did not enjoy this aspect of the toy and had to air it out the odor was so strong. As far as entertainment value goes, I'm not terribly impressed yet, as my toddler likes the pony all right but not so much as to sit on it and ride for more than five minutes. The pony doesn't rock as well as it should, and it slides all over carpet. Be warned. It doesn't make any sounds either. To get the model with sounds be prepared to fork out $100 whereas the Bounce 'n' Spin Zebra we have was comparably priced and has music and sounds! I don't know which one will win out in the end, but this Radio Flyer pony could use a few tweaks in the rock feature.
