User Submitted Nancy Drew: Secret Of the Old Clock Reviews (cont...)Date: 2006-07-12 Sadly disappointing I was so disappointed in the new addition to the Nancy Drew games. I solved the whole case in two evenings and never once had to check with the online community to see if I was doing it right. The puzzles were not near as challenging as the other games and I was disappointed that the body of the games involves having to drive around and deliver telegrams! I have come to love these games because of the challenging aspects and the mind-bending puzzles. This one did NOT make my list of favorites. Date: 2006-06-21 strictly for kids only i was excited to play this game because i wanted to play a detective-like game. unfortunately, this game is very kid-like. here's an example. the first non auto-generated task is to solve some puzzles for a guy. these are the simple kind of puzzles you could find in a children's word game book. i easily got all of them except 1, meaning i couldn't progress past this point. no problem for me, because by this time i didn't want to! i'm not saying it's a bad game, it's just probably not a good game for grownups. Date: 2006-06-19 best nancy i've played so, i won't say what all the other reviews have said, but on junior level, one of the nicest things about this game is the CHECKLIST that nancy keeps. whenever i didn't know what to do, there were always 1 or 2 things that i hadn't done on the checklist. and im sure im not the only one that gets like immense pleasure out of checking things OFF the checklist. so, if you get this game, don't forget about the checklist, its a life saver! Date: 2006-06-01 Old-fashioned charm and fun! LOVED the old music! Game shifts between first-person view to car-like video game! Easily solved the game (I am not the brightest video game player). My favorite ND game! Date: 2006-04-25 Welcome to Titusville, the Picture Perfect Town-Or is It? Arson, theft, noises from nowhere: it's 1930 and weird things are happening at a sleepy roadside inn. Nancy Drew must find out why. But it won't be easy-some of the townsfolk won't give you the time of day, and others seem downright dangerous. Will a dead man's clues lead to a moment of truth... or to your final hour? You can take your roadster for a spin whenever you want. But when it comes to twists and turns, all roads lead to the Lilac Inn. Are the strange clocks Josiah Crowley left behind just pointless playthings? Or was there a method to the old actor's madness? In the Depression, and the Lilac Inn faces tough times. If you don't work fast, the secrets within its walls will be lost forever. A teenager who lost her mother and may be losing her mind; a creepy neighbor with paraanormal powers-do they know more than they're saying? It's obvious that someone besides you has been prowling around in this old tumbledown passageway, but who? And why?:)
