User Submitted Fisher-Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-11-10 Wonderful toy for babies and toddlers My 15-month-old loves this toy! He takes the animals out and then puts them back into the barn in different places (sorting) and he loves when he finds a door or button that makes an animal sound. He is learning the names and sounds of all the different animals, and when we saw a cow the other day at a farm he new exactly what it was :-) Date: 2008-11-02 An oldie and a goodie! I am 37 and had the wooden version of this when I was little. Mine is now at "grandma's" house. We bought this plastic version for our 1.5 year old son, and he LOVES it! He has played with it so much and laughs hysterically at the features! Worth every penny! Date: 2008-10-16 Check the PICTURES...two different items under this listing. Fisher Price has two farms represented here. The first has a DVD, (pic # 4) made in 2006 and contains lead in the facial paint, and does not have the 'touch and feel' feature. Now, (see pic 5 from left) the 2008 model, no lead supposedly, and has soft fur glued on the animals. Amazon sends the one from 2006 which had lead in the paint and your child will most likely put the toy in his or her mouth. Beware as neither Fisher Price or Amazon were willing to remedy the sale of this product when notified. Date: 2008-09-04 Boring for those over 3 My daughter had this from her toy library one week. She just turned 4. She found it very boring, as did I. It would be ok for a 2 year old. Very heavy and bulky, and not much to do with it. Personally, I'd buy Playmobil 123 for a young child. It's more interesting, also more aesthetic. This is kinda ugly. Date: 2008-08-11 Great fun and educational toy! My two boys love this farm. It is very good at helping them learn their animals and animal sounds and it keeps them occupied for a long time. The fur adds another educational edge, as the children learn textures. Great for children with sensory integration issues, as Easter Seals recommended the toy my neighbors son with Aspergers.
