User Submitted Fisher-Price Little People Animal Sounds Farm Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-11-05 Great Toy I got this toy when my daughter was about 9mo old, and she LOVED it right away! It has provided hours upon hours of fun. By far this toy has been the most used of all the toys she has. She is now over 2 and still plays with it with her baby brother. We also got the little tractor set to go with it, so that all the animals could go for rides and get fed! Date: 2007-09-14 Another great step for Little People I purchased this for my daughter to keep her entertained when I was on bed rest. It worked like a charm. The animals are still her favorite toy to take along when we go anywhere. I think the touch and feel animals make it even better. I've read other reviews about how the fur makes them hard to clean but I don't agree. Even after repeated washing the fur is still in great shape. I think that the touch and feel animals make this toy even more fun because they provide nice tactile stimulation. I would definately recommend this toy. It was a real life saver for me. Date: 2007-08-20 Cute farm animals First, I dont find anything wrong with the fact that these animals have fur, wool, etc. That is exactly why I purchased this toy. My son does not chew on his toys anymore. (He is 13 months old) You know your child. If he/she chews on toys and you think maybe they will chew the fur off and eat it, then dont buy this toy. Also, the fur is not "unsanitary". I have had no problem cleaning these toys. As for the rest of the toy, my son enjoys putting the animals and farmer into the silo and through the barn doors. He likes putting other toys in it also. I didnt even realize the silo door could come off easily until a 7 year old came over and took it off. My son has never taken the silo off. My son will play with this toy for about 15 minutes at a time and usually about 2 times a day. An ok buy in my opinion. He will enjoy it more when he is a bit older and can pretend play. Also, I am teaching him the difference in the animals which he is learning pretty quickly as now he can distinguish them and point when I say "point to the sheep" etc. Date: 2007-06-18 Lots of fun for a toddler My (now nearly two-year old) daughter received this farm for Christmas and it has been one of her favorite things to play with since then. It has a number of features that invite even young children to interact with it, including doors that open (and make animal sounds), gates that snap on and off, a barn that the animals can "hide" in until you lift the sliding door, and the most fun feature of all - the rooster that slides and knocks the animals off the hay loft, while making a rooster sound or playing a song, depending which way you slide it. I have not had any of the problems cited by some of the other reviewers - I think the "touch and feel" animals are adorable. I haven't had a problem with keeping them clean. The silo does detach, but it is easy to snap back on and does not come off too easily. Date: 2007-05-31 Not quite up to the usual Fisher Price par... My two year old loves these Little People toys. She has the zoo and house as well. We don't have a problem with the Touch and Feel animals because she doesn't really put them in her mouth but personally, I wish they would have left them alone as well. The problem I have is that the silo doesn't stay on very well. I have to keep putting it back on for my daughter and I am just waiting for it to break completely. I'm dissappointed that Fisher Price went with such a flimsy hinge.
