User Submitted Jump Start Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-04-09 Wonderful Toy I bought this for my 2 year old daughter about a month ago. She LOVES it!! She jumps on it all day long and has since the day we got it. It was a little hard to put together, but well worth it. Even my 7 year old and all of her friends enjoy jumping on it. I would highly recommend this to anyone with young children. Date: 2008-03-30 My kids LOVE this - my husband HATED the assembly! I have 2 boys - a 2 yr old and 3 yr old. They both really like this and are on it every day. It is entertaining b/c of the music it plays and it is good exercise for them. I feel it is a safe item - neither have gotten hurt on it yet! I would highly recommend this to anyone w/ small children. Only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is b/c of the difficult assembly. Date: 2008-03-24 Great fun for toddlers but not so fun to put together My son loves his "bouncy, bouncy." He's able to burn off steam during yucky weather and get some exercise too. I don't know how much (age 3) he really "gets" the game aspect of it, but he loves pushing the buttons to get the music going. Although I find it a bit loud and wish it had an on/off switch and that the volume went a bit lower than it does. It seems sturdy enough. My son is 3 and only 30 pounds, so if it doesn't hold up I'll do an update. This was the toughest toy I've put together, and there have been many toys to put together over the years. First of all the directions were mainly pictures, but they weren't detailed enough to be helpful. There was way too much head scratching going on, but once we figured out which direction the poles were supposed to be going, we did get it together fairly easily, i.e, the holes were drilled straight and the screws and other parts fit fine. The absolute worst was trying to pull the bungee cord through the holes. It took 3 of us to do so. In hindsight, I wish I would have looked harder to find something like this in a brick and mortar store, as I would have paid to have someone else put it together. Again, biggest complaint is that it's a pain to put together. But, it is fun and seems sturdy enough. Date: 2008-02-29 The Good, the Bad, the Ugly Lets start with my 1yr old, 3yr old, and 4yr old who love the jump start. This should provide hours of leaping and giggles. Now, putting this contraption together was to put it midly,"drama". I pride myself with being a handy man but to scream out loud, what were the makers of these ambigious directions thinking. The pictures, in 2 demension, did not provide any real help for me and my wife when it was most needed. It took all of my patience, and my wife's no quit spirit to assemble this beast of a job. Thank God for my wife, because with the directions help I was truly building something different from what I was supposed to build. All in all it took my wife and I three hours to complete the project. But it was a blast to see our kids reaction and approval of the finished work. Date: 2007-12-04 great toy for active kids My girls received this as a birthday gift from their grandma. We were pleasantly surprised after some of the reviews had said that assembly was difficult. My husband and a friend had it together in about 30 minutes and it has been used daily ever since. Parents and kids that come to our home, love to watch their kids jump on it. Great alternative to a large trampoline, since only one child can go at a time. I have recommended this to many others.
