User Submitted Jump Start Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-07-25 Little Jumping Bean My 3 yr. old daughter is in a "Totnastics" gymnastics class. One of the pieces of equipment they use is a full-sized trampoline and she LOVED it from the start of the class. She started bounching on everything in the house - her bed, our bed, the couch, the chairs etc... I found this as I was looking for a soloution for her jumping "problem", and my sister bought it for her 3rd b-day (July 1st). She has jumped on it every day and can't wait for someone to come over so she can show them how high she jumps. At first I was hesitant about the noises and music that it makes, but it is not as overwhelming as some of her other toys and my daughter loves to hear the voice count for her! Date: 2007-07-06 LOVE this jumper! My 2 1/2 yr old twins were given this as a gift and they LOVE it. My 6 yr old son is also able to use it and they all have a lot of fun with it. It was not easy to put together, but it only took an hour - it was worth it. They love to count along with the voice and track their jumps and while they often use the music and other noise features, they even love to bounce in silence. I highly recommend this toy! Date: 2007-06-25 Worth it! I bought this for my 2 year old 2 years ago! I am writing today because I wanted people to know that she still uses this trampoline 2 years later! Her 2 1/2 year old nephew came over this weekend and fell in love with this toy. That is why I am on Amazon today because I intend to purchase this for him. It is difficult to assemble but possible. It is very stable and the kids love "hearing" it count their jumps and make funny sounds with each jump. Date: 2007-05-11 Love this but it broke~! We originally bought this for our two year old's birthday but it's the four year old who really loves it. During the winter when we were cooped up inside and watched way too much tv -the four year old could often be found bouncing up and down on the trampoline while watching a tv show. He jumps on it almost every day and I figure that's a pretty good way for him to burn off all that extra energy when we can't get outside to play! It was a little tricky to assemble but my husband and I did it in an evening and it seems pretty durable and hardy (aka my two boys haven't destroyed it and months later it still looks like new in spite of a lot of use!) FAST FORWARD FOUR MONTHS -the red bungee cable that holds the green middle cloth and provides the bounce - snapped while my four year old son was bouncing on it - it appears that the cable was worn away by the grommets it was threaded through. The company has agreed to replace the cable -but offered no apology and no plans to fix the problem and now I get the fun job of trying to relace the darn thing. Bottom Line - this is a fun toy but for the price it should last more than four months - buy something else. Date: 2007-04-15 Wonderful but broke after 3 months! My kids and their friends all adore this trampoline. It is great indoors for rainy days or evenings too. Santa brought it for Christmas this year and Mom and Dad put it together. It was a chalenging job but we did it together in about 45 min. I wouldn't want to do it myself because it is difficult to attach the elastic cord. Like the other reviews, you do have to make minor adjustment here and there but it's no biggie. Our complaint is that the whole thing just broke! A friend was jumping on it who weighs 70lbs. and the elastic cord pulled apart and broke in the middle of her jump. We are looking for the contact info for the company and hoping that they will replace the cord and maybe the mesh that the kids jump on. The riveted holes may be too sharp and caused the elastic cord to break? I gave this product a 4 becasue over-all it is great and the kids love it. I hope the Co. will replace the parts! A Mom of a 3yr & 5 yr old.
