Features:
  • Good Moon Rising Put this on the bedroom wall, and they'll think you hung the moon. Really. The Moon In My Room" is a detailed convex moon, 10" dia x 3" thick at the center, from Uncle MiltonĀ®
  • It will turn itself on in a darkened room (it's night-light bright, like the real moon) and run automatically through all (12) phases in 5-second intervals, or in manual mode with you at the remote control.
  • The lamp takes (4) "AA" batteries, the remote takes (2), and you're buying. Includes a 15-minute audio CD tour of the moon, and has (3) slotted mounting holes on, you should pardon the expression, the dark side of the moon.

Awesome!
This is a great educational toy. The audio cd that comes with the moon is very informational yet short so the kids don't get bored with facts. The moon can change in to all the different phases with a remote - which in itself is a huge hit with my 5 year old! It also works great as a timed night light!

I Love it......however....
I love this product however......it seems to burn up batteries like crazy
all of the sudden. The price is a little high too! I'm sure this product could be sold cheaper. That being said....we really love it. My little girl plays with it alot. I just wish the batteries didn't burn up so quickly. It seems really bad lately and she's playing with it less so it doesn't make any sense.

My moon-My room!
Very cool night light for my 5 year old son. Fun to use, fun to watch. He turns it on every night. He looks out his window to see what phase the real moon is in to set Moon in My Room to look the same. If he can't see it then he goes to his calendar to check.

Instruction manual does not clearly define the functions of which buttons do what but you'll figure it out pretty quick.
I recommend this product even with the confusing remote control button descriptions. We enjoy it very much!

Budding astronomers love it
My nephews are 8 and 9. The 9 yr old liked it because it could also be a nightlight on remote control. The 8 yr old asperger's child took the whole thing seriously and is busy repeating phrases/info from the cd that comes with it.

Both boys received a cd with it, even though the ad doesn't mention it.

Loved it until it broke!
Well this was a big hit and the whole family enjoyed it a lot - for about 2 days- then one of the lights went out. We opened up the back and found that the lights are LEDs so they are not replaceable. This was a huge disappointment. I looked at the instructions and it said before you return call Uncle Milton. So we did - every day this week - and they keep saying they are closed for the holiday which was 3 days ago. I contacted the seller and am hoping for an exchange. If it works... it is awesome!
