AND BATTERIES LAST AS LONG TIME IT IS AS WELL. ANIMALS ARE ADORABLE. THE SOUNDS IT MAKES ARE SOOOO CUTE TOO. MY SON LOVES TO PUSH THE ANIMALS DOWN TO MAKE THE SONGS GO. Date: 2008-11-04 it's my godson's favorite toy I bought this for my godson's 1st birthday, and he loves it. It's educational, as it gives a parent an opportunity to teach animal names as well as colors. Children can learn motor skills by loading and unloading the train. I think it's pretty. It's my godson's favorite toy right now. Date: 2008-11-02 Fun Train Toy My son has played with this train for over a year now (from the time he was one). He doesn't care too much about the animals, but the train itself he loves to play with - he pushes it around and loads things into it. As a parent, you may start to despise the cutesy songs about animals, but thankfully, there is a switch to turn it off or have it on a lower volume. This train has held up really well under a lot of rough use (outside in the dirt, water spilt on it, etc.). Good toy, good quality. Date: 2008-11-02 great toy i got this for my nephew at 6 months old. he loved it them and still now at a year and 4 months. a great toy, longlasting, and very useful. the ears on the elephant double as a teether and all the animls can be twisted and turned, which he loves doing. best toy i ever bought him, and his parents love it too... Date: 2008-10-13 Fun for everyone. I got this toy for my son when he was learning to crawl to motivate him to go after that. It did that and now 10 months later he still has a blast with this toy. He is 16 months old and doesn't play so much with the animals but with the main train part. He loves to push it everywhere, even though it can go on its own. He also loves listening and dancing to the music it makes. This toy is very durable and great entertainment for children while teaching children through song about different animals. The only complaint, as others have mentioned, is that the back part of the train does not stay attached. This part of the train ends up buried in the toy box more often than it is found attached to the train. However, a great toy no matter how your child choses to play with it.
