He has played with it pretty frequently, but I wouldnt say that it is his favorite toy. I did get some of the additional animals as well and know that he is 14 mos he seems to play with these a little more. This toy is well constructed and durable, but not that engaging for an active little man. Date: 2008-06-05 Fisher-Price Choo-Choo My one year old grandson received this toy from us for his birthday. It is so colorful & attention getting he could hardly wait for us to get it unpackaded ( which by the way took forever - too much wasted packaging) so he could play with it. He carries the giraffe around with him all the time. Date: 2008-06-04 Choo Choo fun Bought this for my 11-mos old twin grandchildren. They both enjoy the train with it's music- they were totally astounded as to how the choo choo train moves on it's own accord and enjoy crawling after it (it also has a setting to stop its movement). They play with the various animals- with a marked preference for chewing on the giraffe... I do not know how much they're learning from the taped songs at this point, but my daughter laugs that it's a familiar voice as they have the same voice for other of their Fisher Price toys... My daughter says that after 3 weeks, its become one of their favorite toys. Date: 2008-05-24 lots of fun, but the tune gets stuck in your head My 13 mo. old loves this train, and has since she got it at 8 mo. old. Like other reviewers, it works great on carpet. The animals are cute and make noise when you move their parts. My only complaint is that the tune gets stuck in my head, and there is no way to make it move without having it sing. I wish it just chugged along on an option of no singing, I'd enjoy it much better. My daughter, however, dances to the beat, so I just try to tune it out! I great purchase. Date: 2008-05-20 Awesome Toy The Amazing Animals train has never been put away in the toybox. We have owned it for 7 months now and has been played with every single day! My son loves to take the animals out and play with the train by itself. He pushes and pulls it around and pushes the smokestack over and over again to see the light and to hear the cute animal song play. We usually only keep it in still mode because he seems to prefer playing with it as a stationary toy. But the motion mode is a great way to get him crawling about. This is the best money I have ever spent for a toy. He has gotten so much enjoyment out of it. I would recommend it for children ages 9 months to 3 years. My nephew even comes over and plays with it at age 2 1/2 years. Highly recommended toy.
