User Submitted Vtech - 3-in-1 Smart Wheels Reviews (cont...)Date: 2007-09-27 My 11 month old LOVES this toy! My son loves sitting on this toy and playing with all the buttons. It's really cool all that this toy does! I would definitly reccomend it. However, don't expect to use it as an actual ride on bike. The wheels are extremely hard to turn, it does not roll at all. I didn't use the rocker part of it because I didn't want my son to loose his balance on it. He still plays with it and he's 14 months now. Date: 2007-09-03 GREAT PURCHASE! My baby LOVES this toy! He is eleven months old and he gets off of it without any problems. Although, he does not understand the educational value of this toy, he loves the songs. We keep it on all of the time so he can at his leisure, listen to the songs without us having to turn the toy on and off. We have had this toy for about three months and we have not changed the batteries. This is an A+ toy! Date: 2007-09-02 One of my niece's favorite toys but it has a few flaws. My 1 year old niece got this toy for her birthday. Initially, we were curious as to how my niece would react to it because she doesn't really have an interest in cars or motorcycles. She ended up really liking it and it has become one of her favorite toys! Because she was 1 when she got this toy, my niece wasn't really interested in the "tummy time" mode. We had it on "rocker" mode but she likes to move around so we almost immediately switched to "ride-on" mode. She likes when we push her all over the house and pretend she's driving. She giggles everytime. Because we never used "tummy time" mode and we hardly used "rocker" mode, I can't really comment on what I liked/disliked about them but I will say that having toys that grow with baby make spending money on toys easier for us. The "driving" part of the toy is really cute. There are quite a few buttons and knobs that teach numbers and the alphabet. The small display shows numbers and letters as they're being said. There's also a steering wheel that my niece loves to play with. Her absolute favorite part is the horn. There are a couple of things that I don't like about this toy however. First, I'm not a huge fan of electronic toys for two reasons-One, I think simple, non-electronic toys are more educational. Two, I hate having to replace batteries (and spending a good chunk of money too). Also, this toy is made of plastic and it's not all that durable. My niece has fallen after leaning over to one side. Not exactly safe. Because my niece loves this toy, I have to give it 4 stars. But be sure to consider the flaws I stated before purchasing one for your child. Date: 2007-08-20 Awesome toy! My son never enjoyed the "rocking" position of this toy so I just turned it to the "riding" position. He absolutely loves this toy! He is not walking yet but he is constantly pulling himself up on this toy and playing with the buttons, wheel and shifter! He plays with this toy at least 10 times a day! He always makes a pit-stop at it when making his toy rounds! He loves for me to put him on the seat and push him around also. This is a great buy! Date: 2007-07-23 The baby loves it We bought two of these from Amazon. One for our granddaughter's first birthday and another to save as a gift for someone else. The baby just adores it. We set it up in the rocking position -- one of the three ways it can be used. She sits on it and rocks back and forth [good balancing practice] while playing with the horn and all the buttons and other gizmos. There are loads of songs, color teaching, and so forth. It was very easy to assemble and is very sturdy. No tools needed. We had bought it for the baby to play with at our home, but she enjoys it so much that the kids took it to their place. So now, instead of giving the second one as a gift to someone else, we will open and assemble it for use here in our house. Once the baby gets older and starts walking, the bottom section can easily be reversed from rocking to the bike type position.
