Action sounds, flashing blinkers, and exciting voice phrases make Action Sounds Trike the ride to have. This trike is styled like a motorcycle with a large front headlight and 2 working signal lights. Sturdy construction features an oversized front wheel for faster pedaling, a wide wheel base for stability, easy grip handlebars, slip-resistant pedals, and a three-position adjustable seat that "grows" with your little one. The face plate of the handle bar has 8 buttons that feature authentic motorcylce sounds and fun role0play phrases. Requires 3-AA batteries (not included). Some assembly required. User Submitted Fisher-Price Action Sounds Trike ReviewsDate: 2008-10-09 Fun for everyone I bought this for my son's second birthday, and he loves it. Unfortunately, at 3ft tall he is still too short to pedal, but he scoots around in it just the same. My other son is six, and since the seat is adjustable, he can ride around. Which is great, because he is showing my 2 yr old how to ride and push all the buttons. Since it's made of very sturdy plastic, it should last quite a while. The wheels are hard plastic as well, with no traction, so the kids tend to spin out quite a bit. There are a lot of different sound effects, and can be quite loud, but they love the motorcycle sounds. All and all the kids are happy, so I'm happy. Well worth the money. Date: 2008-10-03 Get the noisey one if you are Grandpa My grandsons love this trike. Is looks to be well made. Time will tell but they like all the sound and noise it makes. Good buy for the buck. Date: 2008-07-21 Twin grandsons love them! These cycles were a hit with our three year old twin grandsons.....they have all the necessary bells and whistles to keep them happy and moving! The seat adjustment is a nice touch....it ensures that they don't have to struggle to pedal if their legs aren't quite long enough. Date: 2008-06-19 Very glad I got this for my 3 year old son. My son has a few bikes already, but since I got it for him about a month ago, this is his first choice to ride. It seems well-made and it only took about a half hour to put together. It wasn't too hard and the directions were pretty clear. Normally, I would rather get the bike already put together, but one of the reviews said it wasn't too bad, and I'm glad I didn't let that deter me. It isn't great for riding on any hilly areas. The tires are plastic and it's hard to pedal it going uphill without the pedals moving without engaging the wheels. But any park with a reasonably level surface is great and it doesn't take up too much room in the car. We let our son ride in the house and in the backyard patio area and I haven't noticed any damage to our laminate wood floors. (Hard to say since our floors have been through a lot with him, though.) He loves to pretend he is riding a motorcycle and this bike makes pretty cool sounds. I'm totally immune to noise at this point, so it doesn't bother me, but there is an on-off switch for the sounds (and you can always take the batteries out.) I'm really glad I got this bike even though we have two other tricycles and one 2 wheeler with training wheels. His friends love to come over and ride together, so it's worth it to get an extra bike or two. And the price was so reasonable, I didn't have to get it used. I would definitely recommend this bike. Date: 2008-02-14 bike The bike was very cute, colorful and durable. It was very easy to asymble and my boys really have fun with it every time they go outside.
