User Submitted Slide N' Splash Whale Pool Reviews (cont...)Date: 2008-07-23 Warning! Don't Buy! I'd give this pool zero stars if it were possible. My kids were given this as a gift and not given a receipt. The pool stairs didn't hold air for more than ten minutes and within an hour the pool lost all of its air. On the box there is a red stop sign saying do not return to the store, call the manufacturer with problems. I called and the guy I talked to was first of all, extremely rude, and his solution? Return it to the store! When I indicated it was a gift and didn't have a receipt he told me he could not help me. I asked to speak to a manager and he said he had to take my number and have the manager call me back. Of course I never heard from the manager. Horrible company to deal with and horrible, flimsy, small, cheap pool. Don't waste your time or money. Date: 2008-07-17 Not as big as it seems I bought this pool because it seemed larger than some of the other inflatable pools (given its listed dimensions). However, while it may be 74" long, half of that distance is filled up by the slide, leaving only about 2-3 feet of play room in the pool. It also may be 74" wide at its widest point, but again, this is only for the last 2-3 feet of space after they go down the slide. It's not a round pool. The only redeeming quality is the slide, which has a decent step to climb up and is more secure than slides like the "Safari Falls Pool" which we had before this one. Date: 2008-07-17 Dreadful Lucky for me to have a compressor to blow up this slide and pool. If I had had to manually inflate this sucker, only to have three of the six or seven individual chambers immediately deflate, I might have popped. As it is, what more should I expect from such a low-priced (cheap) item? You get what you pay for. Date: 2008-07-13 Good for two or three toddlers! I got this for my toddlers (18 months and 3 years), and they love it. Size: It's perfect for two or three kids, I would say up to four years of age the most. I had to inflate it myself, and it wasn't too bad. Really the part that took the longest was the center part of the slide. Quality: I have two generally gentle girls, so it doesn't take big beatings. However they love to seat on the side and bounce, and so far after about a month of almost everyday use it's still good as new. I bought it thinking that for $20 it'd probably not last the summer, but now I think it will. I think that if we don't use it next year it'll be because it might be too small for them then. I haven't used the attchment for the hose, so I can't comment on how well it works. I wet the slide and the kids go right down, no problem. The slide attaches to the bottom part with two ropes. It came with two little pieces that were barely long enough to do the job, so I got a couple shoe laces and it takes half the time to set it up now. To sum up, a good buy. Date: 2008-07-09 good product The pool is what I expected. It is large enough for our 26 month boy to move around in. I don't know about the slide as he has not tried it yet, but it appears to be reasonably sturdy for a blow-up slide. The fountain feature is fun and keeps him occupied. It was worth the price we paid for it.
