Daughter plays with rocket for hours every day
I thought this seemed a like a fun, different toy, but I didn't expect for it to be my 1-year-old's favorite toy! She loves to open and close the doors over and over and to put the little men in their car and in the crater and in their beds. She never tires of it, I'm happy for her to get to "play house" with a more interesting, gender neutral toy than a dollhouse.

Grandad's Rocket review
There is a lot of color and noise to attract the child. There are lots of hand's on spatial intellect promoters also. It was enthusastically received by a one and a three year old alike.
There's really not a lot of highlights with it. It had no instructions about how to use it, although it was simply put together and most of it was apparent. It did include batteries which was nice.
If I had it to do over, I would purchase it again. Even though I'm sure neither the 1 or the 3 year old yet really knows what the "Rocket" represents.

worth it if your little one really likes rockets
My 2 year old (and 4 yr old, and visiting kids) has enjoyed this toy, but there are some limitations. First of all, the doors fall off easily, so I am frequently re-attaching them. Secondly, the rocket itself is rather heavy and large so it is rather difficult for my 2 year old to lift it and "fly" it around the room. Otherwise, it's cute, colorful and sturdy for fun imaginative play. I haven't found any other rocket that opens up that is good for little toddler hands.

Fun!
My husband bought this for our 2 yr old son for Christmas and we absolutely love it. Its a pretty simple toy and feels like a classic. Cute astronauts, an astronaut dog and space alien come with the cool rocket ship and leave lots of room for imagination. Our five year old loves it too and I don't worry about our baby choking on any of the parts. Plus no batteries, no music, no noise.

Hours and Hours of Fun
This was a surprisingly great toy for all of my boys! My kids (ages 4, 2, and 1) all enjoy watching the lights and listening for the rocket countdown. My middle son has even learned to count backwards by playing with this toy. All of the items in the playset are durable and functional. Pieces are easy to put in the rocket, and the doors pop on and off easily (which keeps them from getting broken.) This is the ONLY toy from Christmas that is still getting as much attention as the day we got it!
