It was very hard to find a toddler Rocket and this one was in several different catalogs, however Amazon had the best price. My son loves this with it's sound effects and lights. And the space vehicle is really neat. I would definetly recommend this toy to parents. Even my teenager likes it!! Date: 2007-12-28 An excellent gift! My son has been watching NASA documentaries since his second birthday, so I worried that this would be too immature for him. However, he does enjoy playing make believe and still has some Little People that he plays with. So, at age four, we bought this for him based on all the other great reviews. We were not disappointed! He LOVES this and plays with it for hours. Our 1 1/2 year old loves it too!! Date: 2007-12-27 nice for older kids We ordered this for my 6 year old space/rocket crazy son to give as a Christmas present to our 2 1/2 year old son. It turns out they both love to play with it, but the younger one is pretty hard on it - like he is with all toys - and broke off one of the doors already. It snaps back on but falls off real easily now. It is hard to believe it would be so easy to break - it isn't a cheap toy after all, but like I said he is pretty hard on things. Therefore, I would recommend this toy for an older, less destructive child. Perfect for the 6 year old! Date: 2007-12-26 Vey Cute I purchased this toy for my 4 1/2 year old son. He desperatly wanted a toy rocket ship, and there are not many out there for his age. Its huge and very cute. The doors have popped off a few times but he can easily attached them back on by himself. Very cute and very durable. The sounds it makes are great and he loves that the lights go on in the bottom rockets when it counts down to take off. Great handle for easy carrying. Date: 2007-12-25 It's a big hit! We got our 5 year old son this rocket for Christmas -- and it is hours later and I can still hear him playing with it downstairs. My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it too -- in fact there has been some squabbling over it but that is not the toy's fault! I would highly recommend this toy -- one of the few that didn't break within an hour of playtime!
